Select Features Explained

Video Recording:

              Direct Digital Video Record from external AV output devices, the unit can be connected to pay TV receivers, digital set top boxes, video players, DVD players, TV sets outputs and more !! directly into the hard drive, just connect the AV cable to the external device & press record. There are 4x record quality settings available, High, Medium, low & Compact. Record at 720x576 resolution, not 320x240 like other models. Record up to 290hrs of video.  

             Live "On the Road" video & audio recording, via the av input cable. No power plug needed, a truly portable multimedia recorder. 

            Record directly from a DVD movie. No need to hack, chop or decode a DVD in your PC anymore. If your DVD player or TV duel output signal, you can even record the movie while you watch it on your TV, then when the finish watching the movie, you will have a copy of it already done. 

Timer Recording:

          This feature allows the user to set a pre determined time & date to start a recording, handy for when you are not home. This would also be handy for those people with multiple digital set top boxes, you could record a show while watching another show on your other TV.

Resume Video Playback:

        This feature allows the user to restart/resume a movie at the same spot as they were last watching. You can bookmark the spot before you stop the movie, then on restart it will ask you if you want to resume the movie. You can also do a time search to manually input the time to start the movie. This is a very handy feature as most other portable multimedia products, the user would need to start from the beginning then fast forward to the last viewed spot of the movie.

Zoom & Resize Video Playback:

       The user can stretch & zoom the movie picture. This feature is handy when you want to make a movie bigger or longer. You can Stretch the movie up & sideways, & you can zoom the picture bigger if needed. Make you movie display like 4:3 or 16:9 formats. The stretch or Zoom feature will work on the portable LCD screen & also your TV if needed.   

Multiple Video Formats Supported

      Play multiple video formats WITHOUT converting. Supports Mpeg1/2, AVI, VOB, DAT, DivX & Xvid. Direct file playback supported, just click & drag video files, for playback. 

Multiple Song Playlists:

        Each partition allows the user to set up 3 separate playlists for music, these playlists can be edited. You could delete, copy or send-to options from one partition to another without a PC. With 4 separate partitions this will enable up to 12 separate playlists.

Multiple Hard Drive Partitions:

         This feature allows the user to have separate partitions within the one hard. Up to 4 partitions are supported, this is ideal for different users to share one device. Each partition will display individual files & folders stored on that partition. This enables up to 4 different people to share one device, without messing with someone else's files. 

MP3 & WMA Player:

       Transfer, Store & play up to 40,960 songs or 2560+ CD disks worth of music (120gb version). Make separate music theme folders like Blues, Rock, Rap, Classic & more. Full playlists can also be set-up & edited. 

Multiple Music playback methods are also supported:   

              Play All, Shuffle, Repeat, Repeat A & Repeat A/B. The repeat A & repeat A/B are unique features to this model.   

         Repeat A allows the user to pick a part/ certain time of the song to listen from, the song will then start from that time & will restart from that time on every repeat. (Example set the adjustable marker to say 1min into the a 4min song. The song when repeated will start at 1min and play till the end of the song) 

        Repeat A/B allows the user to start the song from one spot & finish at a designated certain time (example start at one 1min & finish at the 31/2min spot, even if the song is actually longer. The song when repeated will play that section of song only)

Equalizer Modes:

       This models supports 9x different equalizers settings. Select from, Rock, Pop, Jazz, Classical, Dance, Heavy, Disco, Soft & Default.

Photo Playback:

    Memory Card Copy Station:
